The Chakhesang Christian Revival Church Children’s Association (CCRCCA) organized a one day open penalty shootout 2024 at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima on August 31.
United Brothers FC, Dimapur lifted the title while Hillside FC Kohima were the runner- up.
The tournament was graced by Basuyi Khesoh, who emphasized sportsmanship, camaraderie and healthy competition.
CCRCCA president, Makrove Lohe stated that the Association had initiated this tournament not only to foster healthy competitive spirit but also to bring the children/ youth closer to God, teaching them valuable life lessons about discipline, perseverance and fair play.
“We believe that by engaging in such activities, our children/ youth can develop a stronger connection with their faith and with each other,” Lohe added.
