Chennai returnees from Dimapur reach Jalukie

Jalukie, June 3 (MExN): Two Nagaland State Transport bus services carrying 34 male and 5 female Chennai returnees from Dimapur reached GHSS Ground, Jalukie town on June 2 evening, after they tested negative for COVID-19 symptoms from Dimapur. 

 

A DIPR report stated that on arrival at reception center set up at GHSS ground, they were received by the District Administration along with Medical Staff, Police Personnel, DPRO staff, Baptist Pastor's Fellowship, Jalukie Town and JAC where welcome address and word of God was shared by Baptist Pastor Fellowship Jalukie town President, Mongzeung Mpom while a short prayer was said by Zeme Baptist Church Pastor, Rev. D. Haisuang.

 

After thermal screening, necessary details of the returnees were also recorded by the medical team.
Later, words of encouragement was delivered by JAC Convenor, Dr. Tumda Newme, afterwhich, male returnees were escorted to quarantine centre at JNV School and female to Jalukie GMS Sector A, quarantine centre where they will spend a period of 14 days.
