CHILDLINE Dimapur officials, CWC, Women Police and shelter home children of CECS and Prodigals Home on the occasion of 11th anniversary of CHILDLINE Dimapur.
Dimapur, March 16 (MExN): CHILDLINE Dimapur observed its 11th anniversary at CCI Prodigals Home along with the shelter home children of CECS & Prodigals Home, CWC and Police on March 16.
Marking the occasion, Subonenba Longkumer, Nodal Director CHILDLINE reminded the need for networking and its importance in the present generation, where one can only be valued with its network. He encouraged the gathering to work and support one another as a team, bringing a solution to issues, sustaining the network and reaffirming our commitment for the cause of children till the last opportunity.
CHILDLINE, volunteer, Katoli shared her experience working with children. She said that working with CHILDLINE has made her to ensure the weak and vulnerable are loved and protected. “The greatest joy in life is helping others specially the weak and vulnerable,” she stated.
Takotoba Jamir, Chairperson CWC lauded the team for its visibility in the district and encouraged the team to better. Pastor Wati Imsong Grace to Glory Church blessed the program with a prayer, which was followed by cake cutting ceremony. Shelter Home Children from CECS and Prodigals Home also presented special items at the occasion. This was stated in a press release issued by City Coordinator, CHILDLINE Nodal Dimapur.
