The CLIMATE VOTE PROJECT (www.climatevoteproject.org) wants to challenge worldwide governments at the UN Climate Conference in Durban from 28 Nov. to 9 Dec. 2011 to conclude a comprehensive, legally binding climate protection agreement for the time after 2012 and to present the participating governments with our demand personally, especially the U.S. and Chinaa and
India. It is hoped that 10 million Facebook user or more will add weight and coherence to this demand.
Just a few days ago, we were able to win over Prof. Dr. Mojib Latif, one of the most renowned German climatologists and contributing author of the two very latest IPCC Reports, as an official climate ambassador for this project.
The project will be kicked off on August 15 with an online media campaign in the USA and UK. We would very much look forward to a possible initial report, even before the official launch.
