DIMAPUR, JUNE 6 (MExN): The office of the Chief Medical Officer, Dimapur has issued a notification directing all medicine wholesale and pharmacy shops within Dimapur district to stop the sale/distribution and use of Antibody Detecting Rapid Diagnostic Test Kit for Malaria. A press note from the Assistant Drugs Controller, C Thungchanbeni Lotha and Drugs Inspector, L Martemjen Lkr informed the concerned establishments to stop the sale and use of the said product with immediate effect and return the product to the company within 15 days from the date of issue of this notice. This notification was issued as per the directive of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
