In view of the forthcoming AITWPF 12th National Traditional Wrestling & Pankration Championship 2024, scheduled at Dehradun from October 3 to 6, 36 wrestlers from Nagaland will be participating there under the aegis of the Nagaland Wrestling Association (NWA).
The strong 36 wrestlers will also includes two Officiating Referees, three Refresher Referees and five team officials.
For this, five-day intensive coaching camp for the selected wrestlers and officials got underway on September 25 at Sechü Zubza Council Hall. The camp will culminate on September 29.
The team will proceed to Dehradun on September 30. The Team is expected to reach back to Nagaland either October 10 or 11.
The NWA appealed all wrestling lovers in particulars and the entire Nagas in general to uphold the team Nagaland in prayers.
