Mokokchung, September 23 (MExN): A consultative meeting for the ongoing construction of Imkongliba Memorial District Hospital (IMDH) Mokokchung was held on September 21 at ADC Planning Conference Hall. A DIPR report stated that the meeting was chaired by DC Mokokchung, Rajesh Soundararajan, IAS.
While appraising the importance of IMDH, Rajesh said that IMDH not only serves Mokokchung district but also adjoining districts, therefore, he urged the contractor to finish the work at the earliest possible time. DC also insisted that there should be no compromise on the quality of work. Director Health & Family Welfare Department, Dr. Vigolie Z. Suokhrie also said that the Department is strictly monitoring the project and extend the best possible help from the Department for the speedy construction of the project. Dr. Medem, MS IMDH briefed on the status of the construction and said that half of the hospital has been vacated and dismantled for the construction.
Ao Senden President, Chubawati also insisted that there should be no compromise on the quality of work and also not to divert the fund. He said that civil societies in Mokokchung are ready to extend every possible help for the construction of IMDH. In conclusion, DC suggested regular review meeting at least every six month till the completion of the work.
The meeting was attended by Additional Director, Health & Family Welfare Department, CMO Mokokchung, EE Medical department, SDO (C) Mokokchung, AKM President, NHP, and contractor of the project.
