
Dimapur, March 26 (MExN): The Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organization (ENPO) on Thursday urged the people of Eastern Nagaland to continue cooperating with health workers, government functionaries, police personnel and village councils.
In a press release, ENPO President and General Secretary also requested those students who had recently come from different parts of the country to report to the nearest authority in the interest of public health and safety. It has also asked the 6 tribal bodies to direct respective village councils to identify those students or individuals within their jurisdictions and to strictly adhere to the guidelines laid down by the government, the press release stated.
Further, the ENPO expressed gratitude towards the health workers, government functionaries, police personnel and village councils for their efforts in checking the spread of novel coronavirus in the state. The ENPO assured to extend its fullest cooperation to the government if any emergency situations may arise.
