Nearly 52% ‘recovery’ rate so far

Nagaland reported 9 more COVID-19 positive cases Monday morning taking the total number of infections in the state to 177, but with 4 more testing negative, the ‘recovery’ rate stood at nearly 52% (51.97) recovery rate as of June 15.
“9 new cases of COVID-19 +ve have been reported out of 418 samples tested. 5 from Dimapur QC & 4 from Peren QC,” Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Minister S Pangnyu Phom posted on Twitter in the morning.
Later in the day, the state also reported 4 more recovery cases in Dimapur, taking the tally of active cases to 85. According to Nagaland COVID-19 Dashboard, out of the total 177 cases, there are 110 males and 67 females.
Most of the cases are in the 18 -44 years age group with 165 patients falling under the cohort. It is followed by 45-54 years age group at 6 while there are 5 cases among 0-17 age bracket. There was single case in the 65-74 years age group.
