
2 new cases, 40 recoveries on Jan 27
Dimapur, January 27 (MExN): The total number of active COVID-19 cases in Nagaland dropped below 100 after months even as recovery rate in the State was logged at 97.6% as on January 27.
According to State Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom, the number of new COVID-19 cases in Nagaland increased to 12,083 with 2 new positive cases on Wednesday.
The State’s active COVID-19 cases dropped to 96 on Monday which further reduced to 95 on Tuesday.
Further, with 40 recoveries on January 27 which took the tally of recovered cases to 11,796, the total number of active COVID-19 cases in Nagaland is now at 57 as reflected in the Nagaland COVID-19 bulletin issued by the State Health and Family Welfare department.
The death toll from the infection also remained at 78 while 10 other deaths have been classified as ‘not COVID related’ in the bulletin.
