
Kohima, April 3 (MExN): A total of 14 violations of the lockdown were reported across the State according to the report on Law & Order and facilitation of essential Goods & Services.
Abhijit Sinha, Principal Secretary to the Government of Nagaland, while issuing the report stated that 18 persons have been arrested and 14 non-FIR cases have been registered, a DIPR report stated.
However, no fine was imposed and no vehicle was seized. Further, no law and order incidents have been reported, it said.
On the supply of essential goods, shops for food grains and groceries were open in all the districts except for Dimapur and in Kiphire, where shops open on alternate days, Sinha informed.
Shops for milk were open in all the districts except for Longleng, Kiphire, Peren and Dimapur and medicinal shops remain open in all the districts, he said.
No shortage of food grains, groceries, milk and medicines have been reported in any part of the State, he added.
According to the report, Sinha further informed that on essential services, manufacturing, distribution & e-commerce, no restrictions were imposed the on movement of commercial vehicles for distribution of essential commodities and service providers like electricity, telecommunication, fuels etc.
There was no restriction on the movement of personnel/workers in manufacturing units of essential commodities, he said.
According to the report, the restriction on the movement of e-commerce agents continued in Dimapur.
The Dimapur Administration has also established a Community Kitchen and food was distributed with the help of various NGOs and permits were issued to commercial vehicles transporting essential commodities and all the shops other than pharmacies will remain close till April 5.
