CRC Pezielietsie organizes 1st Penalty Shootout Tourney

The Christian Youth Endeavour (CYE) of Christian Revival Church, Pezielietsie organised its 1st Penalty Shootout Tournament 2023 at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima on August 12.

Altogether, 37 teams participated in the tournament where Kerüge Kro-u emerged as the champion, while Unica FC stood runner-up.

The semi finalists included ZVYSO and United Six while Strawhats bagged best discipline title.

Gracing the tourney as the special guest, Roko Angami, President of the Nagaland Football Coaches Association (NFCA) stressed on the need to exercise self- control, self-discipline and hard working attitude to be a good sports-person or a good person. He thanked the CYE CRC Pezielietsie for organizing the tournament and uplifting and promoting football through the Christian ethos taught by Jesus.

Earlier, the inaugural ceremony was compered by Keneitsituo Kense and Thejasenuo Khruomo. Letuolie Pienyii, pastor CRC Pezielietsie invoked God’s blessing. Mhasizolie Metsieo presented a special number.
