Provides scholarships for three needy students
Kiphire, November 22 (MExN): As part of its annual charity educational initiative, the Charitable Trust Brothers (CTB) on November 20 visited three schools – Eastern Christian School, Holy Cross School and CY Mongzar School to pay the academic tuition fees for Yolise A, Tsalemsela and Livila respectively. This initiative was earlier signed as MoU with the student’s parents, school administration and the Trust.
During the visit, the school administrations appreciated the noble service rendered by the CTB towards the downtrodden families.
As per the School authority, students sponsored by the CTB are brilliant in academics but owing to many untold hardships, the parents have been unable to pay the tuition fees for their children. One of the parents was in tears while profusely thanking the trust for their initiative.
The Charitable Trust Brothers was formed in the year 2012 with an objective to serve humanity. The Trust has been initiating various charity works in and around Kiphire District including annual charity events held every year in the month of December.
This year, the Trust is set to organize a programme in the name “Christmas with CTB” where families from the downtrodden will be invited as special guest, play music for them, enjoy tea and snacks with them and a special prayer and Christmas gift presentation will be given for the special invitees.
