CWS lock NPWD offices in Tuensang district for 72 hrs

Tuensang, April 6 (MExN): The Chang Wedoshi Setshang (Chang Students' Conference) has locked all the office(s) under NPWD-Tuensang District for 72 hours w.e.f April 6.

The Chang Wedoshi Setshang (CWS) in a letter addressed to the DC Tuensang stated that the CWS had submitted a letter Ref No. CWS/GEN-07/22-23, Dated: 13/02/2022 addressed to Engineer-in-Chief seeking clarification for the incomplete construction projects at Tuensang Town. 

“Whereas, for failing to respond to our deadline the Conference locked the PWD (Housing) office till our demand is meet informing through letter Ref.No.CWS/GEN-12/22-23, Dated: 28th March 2022,” CWS President Pongsu and General Secretary, Ebou Naset stated in the letter. “However, the Office of the Engineer-in-Chief had shown lackadaisical attitude and turned 'deaf ears' towards our plea and thus the CWS shall not remain silent,” it alleged. 

It also cautioned that “failing to response within the stipulated time the Conference shall initiate own further course of action.”
