Marking National Sports Day, the Dynamic School of Darts (DSD) under the aegis of Nagaland Darts Association (NDA) today introduced Darts game at Kros College, Kohima.
A brief history of Naga Darts existence which came into being in 2012 was also shared during the introduction and installation programme.
NDA secretary Burakum Ao said that Kros College became the first ever educational institution to introduce Darts during their sports event.
Along with Darts, Taekwondo was also introduced during this occasion.
Vikhor Tepa briefed the rules and regulations of the game.
5 members from DSD & NDA-Wabang Paul, Neibei Solo, Aomeren, Imjungmeren and Neiketou Suohu gave hands on training and demonstrations.
Later, a consensus between the college and NDA was reached that the college will send 5 of its best players to the upcoming annual NDA Tournament to be held on 14 & 15 September at La Colline, Old Minister’s Hill, Kohima.
As a welcome gesture, NDA agreed to allow free registration for the participants from Kros College.
