
Kohima, April 29 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Gregory Thejawelie, IAS has informed that the National Database for Arms License (NDAL) Portal for uploading the details of Arms License and issue of Unique Identification Number (UIN) to all the licensees has been extended till March 31, 2023.
A report from the IPR stated that all Arms License holders having registered arms on the license and have not uploaded earlier have been notified to produce their license and arms alongwith the required particulars in prescribed format to the Office of Deputy Commissioner alongwith a photocopy of the Arms License, 1 (one) ID proof and 1 (one) recent passport size photo of the License Holder (scanned photos not accepted) latest by March 20, 2023.
He also informed that forms can be collected from the Office of the Deputy Commissioner Kohima, ADC Chiephobozou, SDO Jakhama & SDO Sechü/Zubza, EAC Kezocha & EAC Botsa. However, the filled up forms alongwith other documents as mentioned above should only be submitted at the office of the Deputy Commissioner Kohima.
The DC Kohima further informed that Arms License without UIN will become invalid after March 31, 2023.
