Dimapur, March 20 (MExN): In the 6th Dimapur District Inter School Cricket tournament being played at NCA Stadium, Sovima, defending champions Ram Janaki HSS lost to Zakiesatuo Memorial HSS in the opening match while last year’s runners up St. Mary’s HSS also lost to MGM HSS in the second match. The third match between Milleniel Vision School and Bronson School was however washed out due to rain. The inter school cricket tournament is being organized by the Dimapur District Cricket Association. Scores 1. RJHSS vs ZMHSS RJHSS won the toss and elected to bat RJHSS – 68 all out in 19 overs [Monoj – 12 runs; Irshad Alam – 2 wickets, Kamran Khan – 2 wkts, Yuvrah Mansuri – 2 wkts] ZMHSS – 69 for 8 in 12 overs [Tarik Jamil - 16, Kundan Gupta – 10; Nitesh Shah - 3 wkts, Sahil Gupta - 2 wkts] Result – ZMHSS won by 2 wickets. 2. MGM HSS vs St Mary’s HSS Toss won by MGM and elected to field St. Mary’s – 65 all out in 17 overs [Amit Kawa – 10 runs; Prince – 3 wkts, Mughapu – 2wkts] MGM – 66 for 6 in 13.2 overs [Aman – 8 runs, Dishulung – 6runs; Pankaj – 3 wkts, Rahul – 2 wkts] Result – MGM HSS won by 4 wickets.
