DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 8 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner of Dimapur today informed that the Home Department’s order dated September 7, 2021 directing shifting of administrative branches and cells has been put on hold. The DC conveyed this to the Core Committee of Civil Society Organisations during a meeting at the DC’s office on October 8. “DC stated that the Order No.GAB-8/DMP/63/2100(Pt)/249, dated 07.09.2021 has been put on hold and assured that no branch/cell shall be shifted from the present office,” a press release from the media cell of the Core Committee stated. The Committee however reiterated that until the State Government revokes or cancels the said order issued by the Principal Secretary, Home, by way of an official notification, the protest will continue indefinitely with “intense approach.”
