DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 20 (MExN): The Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) has taken serious note that some of the DMC lessees/contractor, urban utility fees collection are issuing duplicate (Xerox) challan instead of original receipt issued by the municipal council office.
A notice issued by the DMC administrator, Albert Ezung said there have also been reports that lessees are collecting excess amount other than the rate fixed by the DMC office.
In this connection, the lessee/contractors have been directed to strictly adhere to the terms and conditions of the lease agreement and not to indulge in any collection of amount contrary to the rate fixed by DMC.
Any violation or deviation with the above directives shall result in automatic termination of the lease/contract besides other penal action, the notice cautioned.
