Do you support the Dimapur Urban Council Chairmen Federation (DUCCF) demand for the repeal of the Nagaland Liquor Total Prohibition (NLTP) Act from Dimapur District? Give Reasons.

Yes:
•    Free will is sacrosanct.

•    Absolutely yes, paying money to our state government is our duty to run the state and paying money to Assam does not benefit us in no way

•    We all know that the act is a total failure so it should be lifted

•    Yes not only in Dimapur but entire Nagaland cos of multiple reasons

•    Everyone wants to lift up yet no one wants to become the…

•    Yes and no cos it doesn't even matter... Available in every corner.

•    Yes because it's a failure.

•    From The Bottom Of Our Heart "ABSOLUTELY YES" YES YES

•    Yes because alcohol is available everywhere in Dimapur.

•    What they said is 100% correct and agreed with them. It's high time that we lift NLT Act in Nagaland.

•    100% yes. NLTP Act is the most hypocritical Act of all Acts at present. An Act which has done more harm than good. An Act which is supported only by some unrealistic impractical small brained humans who chose to live in their imaginative theoretical utopian world instead of waking up to reality. Like 3 decades ain't enough to understand its total failure and impossibility.

•    Even with the presence of NLTP Act, the sale and availability of Liquor in Nagaland is in abundance. There is no mechanism to check the quality and sales of liquor thereby giving more health risk to the consumer. Liquor Syndicates are running free business under the nose of the law enforcement agencies. Lifting the NLTP ACT with proper modalities like issue of card for buyers, quality checking, limited amount to be issued to a buyer, age limit, regular checking of drunk driving, may rather be helpful than the Act

•    Not only in Dimapur alone but it should repeal in whole Nagaland, by doing so cheaper and quality liquor will available. By banning the liquor the illegal syndicate and the corrupt government officials are getting rich in one side and on the other side liquor drinkers are dying because of adulterated liquor. When NBCC can't control their own family than they should avoid interfering in others home.

•    Ban on alcohol diverts to hard drugs. Illegal trade in alcohol flourishes and gangsters are made more rich. Law does not change habits and character. Church should focus in making better human beings.
•    Much needed thing of the day.

•    The kernel fact of NLTP act is a foreign law which will never be applicable to tribal of Nagaland. It is just in words and not in spirit. Repealing the act will be the best solution for the brighter future of generation to came.

•    Totally failed. Open bar and shops available every corner

•    Lift it and let only license holder sell and check the adulteration

•    Act for so called underground, police, admin. Politian, church leaders

•    Let this repeal be the a step of society and church of living a 'LIE' for all these years

No:
•    The repeal of this act would affect our society concerning to youth of our today. Alcohol abuse of domestic violence would increase sooner the act repeal.

•    Why only Dimapur if needed all Naga people voice together.

•    Absolutely a big.. NO

Others:
•    I don't know who doesn't know alcohol in Nagaland, and the most interesting part is that people love more what is banned, instead lift the ban and let better quality with affordable price and conduct often seminar on proper and healthy use of alcohol, then I believe there will be less abusive in our society.
