Yes:
• As far as the FNTA framework is concerned it is a game changer governance reform for attaining inclusive and equitable development goals with specific region focussed developmental agendas. It's success will depend on its implementation without diversion from its intended purpose.
• Because less population and small area of land compared to other state Indian State and more if leaders are honest
• Because the eastern people have lacked development in various ways, whatever central government schemes come, it will get it sufficiently. This is open new vision for eastern people.
• Devolution of power in the region.
• Eastern Nagas are more aware of their rights now because of education, and social media has been great for fact-checking and exposing corruption. Certainly, development activities will be monitored by every section of our society, be it NGOs or media, and it has become a matter of pride for Eastern Nagas to make the best use of FNTA to be on par with the rest of the Nagas. Therefore, I believe there will be equitable and inclusive development in Eastern Nagaland.
No:
• If the same old so called leaders continue to pull the cart, no way
• It will be internally chaotic and externally pretend(ive), practically not commenced, theoretically executed. I am waiting for the show.
• It will only benefit the creamy layer not the mass populace.
• No because the funds will be first directed to the state government which involves lack of honesty and leadership as well That will uphold vision for a developed state.
• No way. Some changes will come but it will involve lot of internal politics which will crack them in the future.
• No, because no amount of money can sustain long-term progress without a shift in people's mindset and genuine human resource development. FNTA will likely end up benefiting only a few elite groups. I hope this serves as an eye-opener for the general public, so they won't blame other Nagas for the ineffective implementation in their areas this time.
• No, because until unless there is corruption it will be hard for anything to develop
• No. FNTA does not ensure equitable and inclusive development. The problem of the region has always been that the representatives and the administration have not made the best use of the resources. This same problem will continue because it is a systemic failure.
• NO. The style of leadership and the characters of politicians will remain the same. This is the problem.
• Richer will be richer. Only a few select will get the benefits. Corruption and tribalism is rooted in our mindsets
• Some rich easterners will become richer.
• Surely fall into corruption and greed by the leaders of the FNTA
• They are too divided and nepotism rules.
• Whether it is in Frontier Nagaland or other parts of Nagaland, corrupt politicians and their khandan everywhere are the ones pocketing the lion share of development funds. General public will remain deprived as long as we have corrupt politicians and local leaders.
Others:
• A diamond in the wrong hands is just a stone. I hope the ENPO leaders honour and fulfill the aspirations of the people.
• As usual the elites and the powerful will loot.
• Can't say. Let us hope in the positive. The leaders seem to be bent on obtaining FNTA. Now they have it in their hands, every result that arises out of their leadership will either be appreciated or depreciated.
• Development is done by the Politicians that the people vote them to power and our state did not deny them from the very beginning of statehood
• FNTA has the potential to push equitable and inclusive development in Eastern Nagaland, but potential alone isn't enough. Real change depends on clear powers, fair funding, local participation, and honest implementation. Without these, it risks staying symbolic. With them, it could finally address long-ignored gaps.
• FNTA is not a guaranteed solution, but it is a strong opportunity. If backed by real autonomy, sufficient resources, transparent governance, and active community participation, it can significantly advance equitable and inclusive development in Eastern Nagaland.
• Hope for true honest leaders.
• I depends upon the leader.
• If the leadership is good, I can see much more better than the others. Looking at the students union in Mon keeping teachers in some government schools due to lack of govt teachers and giving them salary by their own is such a wonderful work and sending students mostly to government instead of private is such a beautiful one. Aren't government teachers more qualified than the others they got through exams right? I might be wrong but as far as I have come across. I don’t know what how far it has become but they really are trying their best for future. I am not from backward tribe but with much positivity I wish them best for people.
• It is too premature to give a Comment. Nagaland would be much better, if it's great citizen knows how to take money out of Politics for Development! Nagaland is too beautiful to be Dirty and Divided!
• Pray that true and real leaders do flourish after FNT.
• Too early to predict. It depends on the type of leaders they elect.
