Kohima, August 12 (MExN): The Rotary Club, Kohima held its 20th installation ceremony on August 10 last at Hotel Japfu, Kohima.

Rotary Club Kohima will now be headed by Dr Rosemary Dzuvichü as president for the tenure 2022- 2023.

The programme also witnessed the induction of 14 new members and board of directors.

Outgoing president Kezhokhoto Savi said that Rotary International motto “'Service above self” is committed to care others and share with others and think about others first before oneself.

 “To live and care for others is the best way to live a life which is worthwhile,” he said.

In her speech after installation, Dr Dzuvichü urged all the club members to work together for the needy and extend every possible help to them.

Past District Governor Chandu Agarwal, who was the induction officer of the programme said “Service to mankind is the rent we are paying for occupying in this earth and it is time to return and give back to the society.”

He urged every member to be a gift to the world.
