EITA closure issue resolved: WSYF

Dimapur, November 6 (MExN): The Western Sumi Youth Front (WSYF) on Friday informed that the ‘misunderstanding’ which occurred between East India Transport Agency (EITA) and Dimapur Goods Transporters' Union (DGTU) leading to closure of the former's office for some time has been resolved.

In a press release, the WSYF said that it invited both parties to its office in Dimapur on November 6, and heard their views. The Front initiated the meeting with authorization from Western Sumi Hoho since the issue involved two Sumi women running their business, it said.

During the meeting, both sides reportedly ‘understood each other's views and agreed to mutually/amicably settle the issue in good faith and understanding’. They also mutually agreed to continue their normal business without any interference in each other's business.

Henceforth, if further issue is created from either side out of the current issue which remains resolved, the WSYF will take stem action, it added.

The WSYF reiterated its strong stand against all sorts of syndicate system in business which leads to unfair business activity.
