
Kohima, September 9 (MExN): The Nagaland Education Project- The Lighthouse (NECTAR) under the Department of School Education has announced an essay writing competition on the topic ‘Educational Vision: Best Practices in School Governance and Management’ for government school teachers in Nagaland for the Nagaland Education Project – The Lighthouse (NECTAR) that aims to improve overall quality of education and transform the education system in Nagaland.
Teachers from all government schools in Nagaland can participate from wherever they are based and stand a chance to win exciting prizes such as Android Tablet for the participant teachers and school supplies for the school, informed a press release issued by Shanavas C IAS, Principal Director DoSE & Project Director NEP-The Lighthouse (NECTAR).
The best entry will win an Android Tablet and school supplies worth Rs 20,000 for the school. Apart from this, 12 best entries, one from each district will also win Android Tablets and school supplies worth Rs 8000 for the school. The winning entry(s) will be duly acknowledged and appreciated by the DoSE. The participant will automatically agree to DoSE using the submissions in a compendium on best school governance and management practices and in different materials created by the Department, it stated.
The closing date for the submission is on or before 6:00 PM, September 20. No submission after the deadline will be considered. Entries must be submitted only through school authorities via email to contact@nagalandeduproject.comor on Whatsapp Phone number 9863605643.
