Kiphire, October 8 (MExN): Farm pond and community hall constructed under MGNREGA 2017-18 were inaugurated at Anatongre village on October 3 by Setsathrong Sangtam, Project Director, DRDA Kiphire.
Sangtam congratulated the village council and entire citizens for the cooperation and successful completion. He further urged to wisely utilize the resources and look forward for income generating projects which will benefit the villagers in the long run. He also encouraged the villagers to work together relentlessly and live in unity to achieve the crown, stated a press release by M. Tsulimthong, VCC, Anatongre.
The village council acknowledged DRDA Kiphire, and BDO Kiphire Block for helping in the entire work plan as well as for the successful completion of the project work.
The programme was chaired by Nyingsuthong and Lemtishe. Pastor Tsinthong invoked God’s blessings and welcome address was delivered by M. Tsulimthong, VCC Anatongre. It also witnessed special song from BYE, short speeches from S. Yansumong, Head GB and K. Kiusthong GB. Vote of thanks was delivered by Kiusumong VDB Secretary and Yangthong Catechist said the benediction. The gathering was enthralled by cultural dance from Kiuti Khia Tsin Rechip (Anatongre dancing troupe).
