The first audition of Voice of Nagaland (VON) was held at Jumping Bean Cafe, Dimapur. All together 40 contestants participated in the competition, out of which 26 of them were selected for the next round. Outstation contestants from places such as Karbi Anglong , Sivsagar and Kathmandu turned up for the audition. Lamtsala H Sangtam and Mhathung Odyuo of Purple Fusion judged the audition.
A young, aspiring musician and promoter Zangzang Zeliang is organizing Voice of Nagaland. ‘The voice of unity’ event management team is managing the event.
