Kohima, December 1 (MExN): Nagaland’s Additional Chief Secretary Temjen Toy inaugurated High Networth Individual (HNI) and Foreign Exchange (Forex) counter at State Bank of India (SBI) main branch, Kohima on November 30.
Speaking on the occasion, Temjen stressed on the need to have a friendly atmosphere with the customers. SBI North Eastern Circle chief general manager Sunil Kumar Tandon said the service is basically for affluent customers who would be able to undertake banking services under one roof of HNI.
He also asked customers not to part with their ATMs and also not to share the pincode and one time passwords (OTP) with anybody.
Cautioning that many fraudsters try to fool the innocent customers through phone calls pretending to be made from bank, he said even if such calls are received one should always directly approach the bank. He also urged the public to avail Yono service provided by SBI.
