Kohima, September 17 (MExN): Five young footballers from the School of Football Nagaland have secured contracts with Dynamic Sporting FC, Bangalore. The players, all of whom are under 15 years old, include Nitova Swu, Talimoa, Lanunungkum (U-13), Isheto Chishi, and Kimendi (U-15).
These players have been awarded scholarships by Dynamic Sporting FC and will participate in prominent leagues such as the Double Pass Development League, The Amateur League, and other Under-15 tournaments organized by the Karnataka State Football Association. Their inclusion in the squad coincides with Dynamic Sporting FC’s recent victory as champions of the Blue Cubs Bangalore 2024.
The boys have undergone rigorous training at the School of Football Nagaland, including specialized goalkeeper sessions led by James Kithan, an I-League player. The academy, founded by former I-League player Kivi Zhimomi and managed by Ason Chang Zhimomi, aims to elevate young Naga footballers to new levels.
As part of their agreement, Dynamic Sporting FC will provide the players with free training sessions, merchandise, and cover all associated costs. The partnership highlights the academy’s commitment to preparing its players for success beyond state-level competition.
