Four girls from Kohima Science College, Jotsoma were selected by the Beauty & Aesthetic Society of Nagaland (BASN) during the campus audition held at the college auditorium on August 26. 12 girls registered for the campus audition of upcoming Miss Nagaland 2017, and 4 girls were selected from among them.
The selected girls will take part in the open audition scheduled to be held on September 6. They will compete with other participants from all the districts to take part in the Miss Nagaland contest.
It was informed that district reigning queens will have a direct entry into the beauty pageant, and the runners up will have to undergo the open audition. The selected contestants will be given intensive training to enhance their personality, diction, etiquettes, public speaking, ramp walk etc. Source: MExN
