Kohima, June 5 (MExN): G. Rio School, Kohima organized a thanksgiving service on June 3 at the school to celebrate the “remarkable success” of its first batch of AISSE and AISSCE 2016 - 17. A total of 57 students from the school appeared the All India Secondary School Examination (Class 10) and secured an outstanding 100% pass result. In the All India Senior School Certificate Examination (Class 12 Arts stream), 25 students appeared and achieved 100% pass result, while 23 students appeared the exam in Science stream securing 95.65% pass result. A press release stated that the school principal, student president and graduates’ representative spoke on the occasion. The Geerreans Alumni Association honored the graduates with awards in different capacities. Rev. Keviyiekielie Linyü, Pastor, Ebenezer Church gave exhortations and blessings.
