Given the political crisis in Nagaland, what should be done?

Those who voted PR had this to say:
•    For a change let there be a rule of law.
•    If Nagas want a fair and free election, call army in. Let Governor impose President's rule.  In contrary to his claim of change, Rio, in order to be in power is murdering democracy in Nagaland. It is as clear as the sun, that he will use the underground people to get himself elected in the coming election. It is time for the general public in Nagaland to disown any underground person, carrying guns around and extorting money just to purchase a plot of land in Dimapur and build a castle, in the name of nationalism. And if anybody raises voice or question their action, they are branded as anti-national, or are silenced. NAGAS, NAGAS, NAGAS, HOW LONG ARE WE GONNA CONTINUE THIS WAY. Right thinking citizens should demand for President's Rule.
•    President is the answer of the hour.
•    I think its the best way for the people of Nagaland there only few months left for election.
•    Elections are in the offing and hence it is better to have a system that can be trusted to be non partisan. This shall also give space to the govt. to quit honourable in the face of allegations of varied kinds.
•    In a situation of control and access game let the "superpower" have control.
•    Well principled opportunist deserting the sinking ship just on the eve of elections so to say. No permanent friends or foes. Presidents rule is a viable option for a change.

Those who voted NPA had this to say:
•    •    Because majority should rule the govt
•    Cause it is so obvious the speaker was undemocratic in his decision
•    The DAN govt has no moral right to continue, after being clearly defeated by the cong led NPA in the assembly, during no confidence motion. Mr Rio should step down before he is forced by the central govt to step down.
•    DAN has lost majority on the floor of the house, whatever the reasons be.
•    It's a shame that Rio is still trying to hang on to power even after knowing that he has lost majority.

Those who voted DAN had this to say:
•    •    So far they are the best government in the state.
•    Because its the only govt who have got goods to solve the present situation.
•    Given all the complexities, it will be wrong to let Congress form the government since, there has been a lot of resignations and defections. The intention behind these defections are not political by nature, but out of sheer greed and lust for power. Now that there are only a few weeks left for elections, DAN should be given the chance to complete it.
•    Legally, though the DAN government may be a minority, the moral authority of the DAN still is the supreme voice, and so it must continue.
•    Shame to those renegade politicians after having fill their belly, eating together, sleeping together, living in the same roof for all this years, with Rio led government. Why betray?
•    Both DAN and Congress do not have the numbers to be the majority. Unfortunately it is the defectors from the DAN govt which comprises the deciding factor, but seeing that the defectors do not have the moral authority anymore, it will only be fair for DAN to continue ruling for the remaining time.
•    The DAN has absolute legal right to continue and the congress should not mislead the Nagas.
•    They have the people's mandate to govern.
•    Imposition of PR would be a defeat of democracy in Nagaland, and since Congress does not have the numbers to show, it is only fair that DAN continues to rule.
•    DAN govt has legal right to continue. No shame for the Congress and the defectors. People must reject those power mongers.
•    Congress have lost both moral and legal right to rule. They have no political conscience and integrity.
•    Because of their development and progress in 5 years.
•    Because DAN has the required Number to run the Gov...very simple...
•    Is there any way of calling the so-called representatives of the people who have resign without the knowledge of the common man? Our politicians should stop shifting allegiance from one party to another for their selfish interest only. If they feel that DAN govt was not functioning properly, did they not know it earlier? My question here is why resign now when it is just 3 months short of the general elections?
•    Presidents Rule will definitely be in favour of the ruling party at the center, which is the Congress, which in turn will favor the Congress party of Nagaland. It is because of this that the Congress has been trying to throw the NPF govt off and creating this confusion in Nagaland. DAN should be allowed to continue till the people decide which party to give their mandate to in the next elections.
