GLOCAL: Hornbill Int’l Film Festival

The 2nd edition of GLOCAL, the Hornbill International Film Festival will be held on December 8 and 9 at Bamboo hall, Heritage Village, Kisama from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Commissioner & Secretary Information & Public Relations, V.Maria Yanthan will inaugurate the Festival. The festival will not only involve the screening of short films, animations and documentaries from across the globe but will also feature workshops and seminars covering a wide array of subjects related to film making.  

The highlight of the festival will be the screening of award winning short films from Myanmar including the much acclaimed animated film titled “My Life I Don’t Want” which has bagged 38 global film awards in various film festivals including the prestigious Human Rights Human Dignity Film Festival.`Two short films from our very own renowned film maker from Nagaland Sophy Lasuh titled IRIS YINGZEN and Rone along with a number of other short films from America, Latvia,Nagaland & North-east India will be screened during the festival.
