DIMAPUR, MARCH 29(MExN): The Government of Nagaland has requisitioned government establishments in the State to be used for containment measures with regard to the COVID-19 pandemic. These include all tourist lodges, all government rest houses, hostels of education institutes where there are no inmates presently, town halls, convention halls and education institution buildings. An office memorandum issued by the Chief Secretary said that in exercise of powers conferred by the Nagaland Epidemic Disease (COVID-19) regulations, all existing facilities such as furnishing, catering services etc in these establishments is kept at the disposal of the different district administrations for discharging duty of containment measures. The District Task Forces have been directed to identify and assess material requirement for operationalisation in conformity with extant standard operating procedures. The task forces have been asked to inform the same along with capacity, address and contact details to the Directorate of Health and Family Welfare by March 31.
