Dimapur, September 27 (MExN): The GPRN/NSCN (Unification) has expressed profound sorrow at the passing of veteran member Hevukhu Aye of Amboto Old Village, who died on September 26.
The GPRN/NSCN (U) in a press release issued by its MIP said that Aye dedicated many years of his life to the National cause, serving from his early days in the Lotha Region to various responsibilities he subsequently shouldered, demonstrating perseverance, loyalty and a strong sense of responsibility.
It said his years of service stand as a record of his commitment and his contributions will be remembered by fellow members and comrades with due honour and respect.
The GPRN/NSCN (U) said Aye's passing is a great loss not only to his family, relatives and friends but also to the organisation, and joined the bereaved family in mourning his departure while acknowledging with gratitude the years he devoted to the service of the nation.
It extended its sincere sympathy and heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, praying that the Almighty grant them strength and peace, and that his memories remain a source of comfort.
