Benlanthung Yanthan, Music Director, Dimapur Lotha Baptist Church, hopes that Dimapur would experience change through the program even as many tribes in Dimapur come together to worship God and show oneness in Christ under the theme “Celebrating Oneness in Christ.”
Benlanthung has a Masters in Christian Theology from Aizawl Theological College. Benlanthung has no formal training in music but was associated with Chan, a renowned church musician from Singapore Bible College, for 8 years. He along with his group has 3 albums - the latest released in 2010 is titled ‘Yahweh Country Gospel songs’.
“A song sung from the heart will reach the hearts of others,” Benlanthung says and hopes that their songs would reach the hearts of the people in Dimapur.
