Kohima, March 25 (MExN): The Home Department has informed that the situation with regard to all the essential commodities and goods including POL continue to remain normal and advised citizens to cooperate and abide by the containment orders issued.
People should remain indoors, not socialize and come out only if it is unavoidable. At shops one should maintain social distancing, it said.
Further from one family only one person should come out for shopping purposes and should try to shop only from the shops closest to his or her house.
The District Administration and Police are regularly monitoring the situation and would be taking strict action against anyone found indulging in non-essential travel, it said, adding that a state control room has also been set up for the same.
