Yilobemo Erui being honoured by ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, Nagaland Centre.

The ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, Nagaland Centre, has honoured Yilobemo Erui, a dedicated farmer from ICAR-KVK Wokha, for his remarkable achievement in agriculture.
Erui set a new Guinness World Record for growing the tallest coriander plant, which stands at an impressive 2.77 metres (9 ft 1.06 in). This notable accomplishment was officially recognised on April 25, highlighting his innovation and commitment to farming.
The felicitation ceremony took place during the "Interactive Workshop for Promotion of Oilseeds in Nagaland," organised by ICAR Nagaland Centre at Medziphema. The event was graced by C. Peter Yanthan, Director of Agriculture for the Government of Nagaland; Dr. Girish Patil, Director of ICAR-National Research Centre on Mithun, Nagaland; and Dr. H. Kalita, Joint Director of ICAR, Nagaland Centre. Distinguished scientists from ICAR-Indian Institute of Oilseeds Research (IIOR), Hyderabad, including Dr. Sandeep Deshmukh, Senior Scientist & Head of ICAR-KVK Wokha, and Anuranjan Singh, Skill Development Consultant & Project Manager, District Administration, Wokha, were also in attendance.
During the ceremony, Yilobemo Erui was presented with an Appreciation Certificate for his extraordinary achievement.
