IDANSB holds ‘Continuing Dental Education’ prog

Dimapur, September 13 (MExN): Indian Dental Association Nagaland State Branch (IDANSB) in association with CricDental organised ‘Continuing Dental Education’ (CDE) programme on ‘Magnification in Dentistry’ on September 9 at Hotel Europa Inn, Dimapur. The clinical uses of Microscope and Dental Loupes for better and precise dental treatments were explained during the course.
Dr Unmesh D Khanvilkar, MDS (Endodontics), Mumbai was the chief Mentor for the programme. He also heads the CricDental division which specialises in manufacturing various Dental equipments. Dr. C Tetseo, Deputy Director, Health & Family Welfare and Member, Dental Council of India was the Nagaland State Dental Council Observer for the programme.
Several doctors from various parts of Nagaland had come to enhance their knowledge required to perform the delicate procedures of Dental treatments. A wide range of demonstrations were held using the Microscope and Dental Loupes which were thereafter done individually by all the participants. Dr Vinika Sumi added that this programme will now enhance the skills of the dental doctors of Nagaland to give a superior treatment to all of their patients.
