
Dimapur, September 13 (MExN): Immanuel College, PTA Committee organized a Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) meeting for higher secondary students for the session 2019-2020 at the College Conference Hall on September 12.
The PTA meeting aimed at encouraging good relationship between the teaching faculty, parents and the guardians. The meeting was used as a platform to make a lasting bond with the parents to increase the likelihood of academic success of the students, a press release from the College’s Media Cell Convener stated.
The meeting was chaired by Serfudin Ali Asst Prof, Department of Botany. God's blessing was invoked by Lanusangla, Asst Prof, Dept of Zoology.
Sharatchandra Singh, Principal, Immanuel College delivered the welcome address thanking the parents and guardians for their presence and stressed on the importance of parents-teachers role in moulding a student to be a responsible individual.
Speech on behalf of parents was given by Ajungla Jamir and Kenneth Murry and Temjen Lkr delivered the speech on behalf of the teachers followed by an interaction session.
