The Immanuel Music Academy Choir, also known as the ‘IMA Choir’ will officially release their song titled ‘Khristo no alhokupuju ka acheni’ on June 16 in YouTube channel.
IMA Choir based at Zunheboto is a group of singers, song leaders and musicians have come together under the initiative of Aron T. Asumi with “the only motive for the edification of the name of God through music.”
Aron T. Asumi, Convenor of IMA choir, is also the Director of Immanuel Music Academy, Zunheboto. He is a music teacher, composer and a performer.
IMA Choir members include Abotoli Achumi, Kitheli Arkha, Vekali Chiqhemi, Zhuli Chishi and Mughasheli Yeptho on the Soprano, Toli Chophy, Khehoshi Shohe and Eunice Yeptho on the Alto, Akavi Yeptho, Mughato Achumi, Mughavi Aye, Kakivi Yeptho and Joshua K. Swu on the Tenor and Mughaho Zhimo, Boloto Achumi, Mugha Awomi, Yeshika Jakha and Aron T. Asumi on the Bass.
The song ‘Khristo no alhokupuju lo ka acheni’ was recorded at Aron Studio with the lyrics written by Dr. Vihuto T. Asumi and music composed by Aron T. Asumi.
The song was composed in honour of the year 2017 was the 75th Jubilee Year for Zunheboto town and Baptist Church at Zunheboto.
This song will be officially released by Pastor (Retd) Toluvi Asumi at Immanuel Music Academy, Zunheboto in the presence of well wishers and guests.
