Medziphema, February 7 (MExN): In order to bring significant changes in the government sphere, training on ‘improving e-governance in agriculture’ was held at SAMETI, Medziphema from January 28 to 31.
The main resource person was Dr. Venkateshwar Rao, Faculty ICT studies, MANAGE. The trainees were capacitated on ICT in Agriculture, Remote sensing and GIS usage in Agriculture, Use of Mobile SMS alert system in Agriculture and AGMARKNET.

36 officials including District Agricultural Officers, Project Directors ATMA, KVK Program Co-coordinators and Representatives from SARS and ATMA participated. Director, SAMETIin a press release stated that the training was conducted in collaboration with MANAGE Hyderabad.
