INTCWS conducts career-oriented seminar

Dimapur, September 9 (MExN): India Northeast Tribal Community Welfare Society (INTCWS), Dimapur under its education wing, Libra Consultancy conducted free career-oriented educational seminar for class 11 and 12 (science stream) students of SD Jain Hr Sec School on September 2 and Don Bosco Hr Sec School on September 9. 


A press release issued by Atsei Sekhose, Chairman INTCWS stated that the resource person, Christina exhorted the students to plan big, aim high and work hard in order to achieve success in life. At a critical juncture of schooling life students need to be aware of various career options and opportunities available to them. Career planning, therefore has to be carefully made on the basis of their interests, aptitude, skills, values, personality. Students were also encouraged and motivated to develop healthy competitive spirit, teamwork and become responsible.


The resource person and the society members actively interacted with the students, and clarified the doubts and confusions of the students on various career options, scopes and job prospects, preparation of exams, patterns of competitive entrance exams etc. The society also announced cash payments to meritorious students amounting to 30 % to 40% of their fees to undergo some professional courses outside the state. 
Altogether, over 210 students and faculty participated in the programme.
