INTCWS conducts educational seminar for science students

Dimapur, February 20 (MExN): The India Northeast Tribal Community Welfare Society (INTCWS), Dimapur under its education wing Libra Consultancy conducted a career -oriented educational seminar for science students of St Mary’s Cathedral Higher Secondary School, Kohima on February 18.

During the seminar, INTCWS’s Ketholulu gave an introduction about the various activities of the society such as career guidance seminars, admission counselling, cash scholarships to meritorious students etc, which are being conducted by the society since its inception in 2004.

 The resource person Christina spoke on the different career options available in medical, engineering, robotics, civil services, military, agri and allied courses, entrepreneur, sports, animation etc, a press release from the INTCWS informed. 

While applauding the school for being the only digitalised school in entire North-East, she also encouraged the students to work hard since they are privileged to be studying in a school with all facilities, it said. 

The students were advised to plan their careers on the basis of their interests, aptitude, skills, values, and personality while they were also motivated to develop healthy competitive spirit, teamwork and become disciplined to be successful in life, the release added.  

During an interaction after the presentation, confusions on various career options, scopes and job prospects, preparation and patterns of competitive entrance exams and higher professional studies were clarified by the resource person, it said.
