“Awesome, love the music, beautiful, just wow…” are some of the top comments shared on YouTube channel for the song ‘Contemplation’ by Powerfaith featuring various artists released on June 5 - World Environment Day 2018.

In just three days since its release, over 18,989 views and 190 comments have rolled in appreciating the song which is one of the first within the Naga music circle to have so many Naga artists collaborating for a common environmental cause in the music video.

The collaborating venture is part of project ‘Creation Care’ initiated by the Powerfaith Ministry, a ministry focusing on positively impacting the young through music.

Besides the Powerfaith band of the Powerfaith ministry, the much anticipated video includes 11 famous Naga - Nash Longkumer (UDx), Bendangmoa and Mar Jamir from the Polar Lights, Obed Kath of Divine Connection, Alobo Naga, Imtisenla from Powerfaith, Tali Angh, Mengu Suokhrie, and Mhaseve Tetseo, Mercy Tetseo and Kuvelu Tetseo from Tetseo Sisters.

The song is a clear message on the beauty of the environment and a wakeup call to “A human race – lost in greed and ignorance has been the undoing of God’s wondrous handiwork…” It is a cry to “love, preserve and cherish this beautiful gift of nature.”

‘Contemplation’ cries about the destruction caused and strongly sends out the message for mankind to free itself from the rush of everyday busy life and realize the importance of taking good care of the environment. The second part in the first verse says, “There’s a mad rush to provide, or be on the other side of the line. It’s just another busy day at the office. That’s all we care.”

Nonetheless, the song is an affirmation in the power of human mind to recognize the need to bring back the glory of nature that we are starting to lose. ‘Contemplation’ delivers the message very smoothly with its catchy tune and upbeat musical arrangements and this song is something one would love to sing along to.

The striking chorus of the song goes like: “Take time, think what you’d see tomorrow It’s time to clear the mess you made Look back at the traces to remind you To mend your ways, it never is too late”

The best verse is the bridge where the promise to saving the environment and the allegiance to change comes along: “So I’ll write to Mother Nature Saying how we’ll all been leaving an ugly trail Cause I’m feeling uneasy in my shoes And I’ll make the most of this moment To be the change I want to see”   ‘Contemplation’ for sure is the right song to pledge to save this planet with care and love and a must addition to the playlist.
