
DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 3 (MExN): Saint John’s High School Diphupar ‘B’ organised John’s Fiesta, a two-day annual event celebrating culture on October 31 and November 1 in the school campus.
The occasion was graced by OT Chingmak Chang, IAS, Retired Commissioner Secretary, Government of Nagaland. In his address to the students, Chang emphasized the importance of embracing one’s culture and identity and preserving it. He urged students to keep the words, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of all wisdom” in their hearts and stressed the values of hard work and unwavering dedication as the key ingredients for achieving success in life. Further, Chang also emphasized the importance of making a deep commitment to reading textbooks a top priority for every student.
The school’s headmaster, Johnny Abraham, extended a warm welcome to all attendees. Throughout the two-day celebration, students from Lower kindergarten (LKG) – Grade10 participated in a wide range of competitions including Dance, Action song, Fancy Dress, Cultural Show, Poster Making, Drawing, Story telling, Extempore Speech, Debate, Essay Writing, Memory Test, Scripture Reading, English & Hindi Calligraphy, encompassing various forms of art, literature, and cultural expressions.
