The 2nd Edition of Khezhakeno-Kikrüma Badminton Tournament 2024 was held on September 16 at Khrokolo Foundation Khelo India Centre, Pfutsero under Phek district.
Altogether, 56 players joined the tournament in two categories (40 above and 39 below).
Speaking at the inaugural function as guest speaker, Merhasou Pfüno president, Khezhakeno Outside Dwellers Union encouraged the members to uphold the unity between the two villages and emphasized the importance of strengthening friendship through sports.
Netsozü Tunyi, the oldest participant of the meet also exhorted the gathering.
A new team of office bearers for Khezhakeno- Kikruma Badminton Association was declared with Joshua Koza and Medozhalie Puro as President and Secretary respectively, along with other supporting members. Earlier, the programme was chaired by Medovelo Sono.
