KIPHIRE, AUGUST 2 (MExN): The 1st edition of the District Football Championship organized by the Kiphire District Football Association will be held from August 20 to 26 at public ground, Kiphire town on the theme, “Fostering unity through football.”
Informing this in a press release, KDFA President, Apongse said registration will begin from August 5 and continue till August 16.
Only residents of Kiphire district will be permitted to participate in the championship.
The winner will walk away with Rupees 50, 000 in cash, while the runner-up will receive Rs 30, 000. Selection to represent Kiphire district in Dr T Ao tournament will also be done during this tournament, the press release informed.
Besides the semi-final prize, there will also be additional individual prizes such as player of the tournament, highest goal scorer, best goalkeeper, and best discipline team. For more information, interested have been asked to contact- 7005914671/8974106686.
