KOHIMA, July 30 (MExN): The three-day 12th Kohima District Table Tennis Championship concluded on July 29 at the Kohima Indoor Table Tennis Stadium. The table tennis fraternity observed a minute silence in respect and memory of late Kevilevor Metha, former Nagaland State player before the commencement of the prize distribution.
The prizes awarded included cash and certificates which were distributed by former champions and table tennis patrons led by President Vitho Niekha of Nagaland Table Tennis Association.
The KDTTA has meanwhile expressed gratitude to Chumbenthung Ovung, former NLD Champion; Akuonuo Yhome, President, NIAPA; Theja Keretsü, Nagaland Taekwondo Technical Director; Kezhaleü Keretsü, former NLD Champion; Jaya Pradhan, former NLD State Player; and Those Kraho, President, Sunrise Badminton Club.
