The 1st Open Father’s 7 Aside tournament was held today at Lhouchalie Viluo Fifa Pro-Turf, Vilietsa, Meriema in Kohima district under the theme ‘health is wealth with team sports.’
Kop T bagged the champion title and received Rs. 20,000.Runner-up Star FC stood awarded with Rs. 7000.
Kerizolie of Star FC has been declared as best keeper and Abey as player of the tournament.
Speaking on the occasion as the chief guest, Dr Kekhriezhazo Viluo (Grandson of Lhouchalie Viluo) shared that though their grandfather was not a sports person, he was physically fit and lived upto 107 years. He also shared that the Futsal ground was constructed in the memory of their grandfather’s good deeds during his lifetime, naming it as Lhouchalie Viluo Fifa Pro Turf. This turf ground is constructed for everyone to come play and become fit and healthy, he said. The tournament was organized by L Viluo, FIFA Pro Turf Management.
