Leadership & Religion Camp cum Epiphany celebrated at St Xavier Parish

Kohima, January 6 (MExN): St Xavier Parish Kidima diocese of Kohima organised Leadership and Religion Camp cum Celebrated Epiphany (the manifestation of Christ to the Magi) under the theme “Avoid every kind of evil” (I Thessalonians 5:22) with Reverend Father Rajesh Lobo SJ, Eden Garden cum Children’s Home, Khuzama, Nagaland, India as main celebrant at Good Shepherd Catholic Church Kezo Town from January 5 to 6.


In a press release from P Tepekrovi Kiso, Reverend Father Rajesh Lobo SJ explained the meaning of Epiphany which was a concluding ceremony of Advent. Epiphany was the fulfillment of prophet Isaiah, Father added. Messiah was manifested from Magi, Father Lobo said. The priest in the large gathering asked God’s pardon and forgiveness to make it worthy to celebrate Eucharist.


Enchanting Gloria, imparting leadership and religion practices, a special prayer with an intersection of Mother Mary and incarnation through Eucharist were the highlights of the programme. The Catholic Church members from all the villages of Kidima Parish joined for spiritual and leadership training.
